New York, NY – [09/20/2024] – The African Development Summit 24 is set to take place on September 28, 2024, with a mission to empower Africa's young leaders and chart a sustainable path to development. This pivotal event aims to foster collaboration, inspire innovative solutions, and provide a platform for dialogue on critical issues affecting the African continent.


**Goal of the Summit:**

The primary objective of the African Development Summit 24 is to empower the next generation of African leaders by cultivating their capacities, enhancing their leadership skills, and connecting them with opportunities that drive sustainable development. The summit will address key topics such as women's empowerment, business growth, technology integration, and governance to ensure that young leaders are equipped to navigate and influence Africa's future positively.

02:15 PM - 03:15 PM: Session 4 - Charting the Course: Advancing Politics and Governance in Africa

Featuring Gedeon Baleke (Vice President, African Coalition for Development), Prof. Tristan Etumba (Former Senator, Democratic Republic of Congo), Akol Dok (Founder and CEO, Orus Consulting Limited), and Esther Atosha (Co-Founder, Youth Peace and Security Coalition in DRC).


Each session will consist of structured presentations followed by a Q&A segment, allowing for an interactive environment. The event will conclude with closing remarks and an audience feedback session to cultivate future collaboration and support.
